Hi,

I’m after an upper tailgate for my 2011 Santorini Black Vogue.

Mine has a little too much rust in it for a decent repair.

Would love it if a santorini black one came up but any colour would do I guess and I will get it sprayed

After seeing many reports of rusty tailgates I've just took the internal trim off mine to take a look. Looked perfect inside so I got out my borescope to look at the bottom seam. And yes, 3mm either side of the seam is the dreaded. It now has copious amounts of waxoil dribbling out of every nook and cranny. So if you find a tailgate take a close look because mine is the same age as yours.

Ive looked at a few on ebay described as “good condition” but they are just as bad as mine or soon to be as bad as mine.

I might see if i can just get it cut out and bodyworked.
