After taking my Lab for a walk today, I called into the local livery and picked up some dog shampoo and a very large beef knuckle joint. Every time i give Poppy a bone it always amazes me the power she has in he jaws. I always remember the first bone i gave her, i thought she had hidden it but she had eaten the whole thing lock stock an barrel! The second bit that amazes me is how gentle she is with my son. He's only 16 months old an is Poppys best friend. He is really rough with her at times but she is always super gentle, and never gets grumpy.

They are ace. I did a training class a while ago and think they said a lab has a bite force of about 1000lb and a croc has 3000lb. Thats mental when you start to think they are own best friends. |
