Hi!

Does any body have experience with 235/65/18 on Winter tyres?
I have to make a dessicion, and not sure if 235/65 or 255/60 is the best option.

I like the look of the wider tyres, but i think the narrower is the best perfomer in the snow.

Any thoughts?

I ran 235/65 R18 winters on my old TD6 for years. Went skiing, all over the Alps and they were fine. gave quite a nice quiet ride also.

These are the factory sizes. I think 235/60 R18's are the wrong size.

7.5J x 18 255/60 R18 112 H or V- All
8J x 18 235/65 R18 110 H - Winter
8J x 18 235/65 R18 110 H N Y
8J x 18 255/60 R18 112 H or V N Y
8J x 19 255/55 R19 111 H or V- All
8.5J x 20 255/50 R20 109 V- All

I prefer sidewalls as well.
As for my summertyres i have 20’’ wheels, and i would like to have 18’’ wheels and tyres here as well.

Personally, i think to many L322 looks like they been featured on Pimp my ride, with no sidewall, 22 inch wheels and too much bling and alterations
