2008 SC Mystery sensor?

Hi friends—-I have my bumper cover off to replace a cracked windshield washer reservoir. While I have it all apart, I’m cleaning up some poor work by prior owners. This sensor is lying loose on top of the passenger side (LHD truck) bumper support, and I can’t believe this is how it’s supposed to be situated. No part number on it to look it up either. There are some large gauge wires going into the harness for it, so I imagine it’s significant, I just don’t know what it is.

Would appreciate anyone who could tell me a) what this sensor is and b) where it properly mounts.

I don't think that's a sensor but a capped off power supply for winch or similar. Although I could be wrong.

Auxilary radiator fans perhaps? Classics used to have a spare like that for optional spotlights.
