Hmmm, looks like a different S/W version. It must be the paid-for “Pro” Version, the “free” version has known limited functionality. Try deleting/reinstalling from a reputable source.

Good Luck! Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Presume you both have pro version and Have you both selected the correct car connection profile for your car/engine? Settings/Connection profile there are 2 profiles rangeRover & landrover choose what's closest to you. The default is OBD-II/EOBD for those engines not listed. If its not in the list drop developer a line and eventually he will add it

If that doesn't help, then enter sensor properties and at the bottom if it says none in blue select this and scroll down to miles.

if that doesn't work contact developer in app, with all the details, he is usually very quick to respond. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

A bit obvious I suppose, but do you now have BOTH pro & standard versions on your phone, and opened the wrong App accidentally? Whistle “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

I’m using the pro version, 1.99.8

The best match for my car is L405 2017-2021. This is the one that shows the distance in m and has no property of miles.

I’ve tried all sorts of profiles in both Land Rover and Range Rover and can’t find one with the option to set to miles between DPF regens, even using profiles that don’t suit my car (in demo mode). Which profile do you use KOT?

Many thanks for trying to help us. 2017 (67) Vogue SE Corinthian Grey

I use same L405 2017-2021 as I requested this for Facelift + L405.

Just been and checked my set up live in the car.

I believe you need to change the sensor not the (ECM) x sensor you are using see below

Then check

Not sure there is a profile for the V6 engine though but would guess all the sensors would be similar?

Hope this helps. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Thanks again, I can get the “average between regens” to work. It’s the “distance since last regen” that shows in m and I think this would give the best indication of a missed one. I’ve emailed the developer, let’s see if he replies. 2017 (67) Vogue SE Corinthian Grey

try changing role override to calc_distance ? otherwise contact developer and maybe ask for an addition car profile that matches your V6 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Hi Abacus405,

For my 2017 V6, I use the profile “Land Rover OBD-II / EOBD” this works fine, and all my units are as desired.

Hope this helps. Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

EDIT: No, sorry I misunderstood. Even if I select “All Sensors” rather than a specific profile. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

A massive thank you to you guys that have provided all the info on this
I was rather p@@@@d off when I was only getting 5k then service due
3 months earlier than the 12 month interval all because of these failed regens
Now I know when regen starts I can make sure it finishes
First one done today so I’ve popped my regen cherry miles to service only dropped by 170 ish after it had completed
Luckily I already had a few diffrent elm327 gadgets I used on other vans vehicles

Pic before and after mins you it was stuck at 100% trigger for a few days and no matter how many times I took it for a warm up and blast along motorway it wouldn’t invoke a full regen just occasional passive 🤷‍♂️

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Barolo Black

Hi all,

I have the iCar Vgate and the Car Scanner Pro.

It provides a lot of great information and I am setting it up to monitor Regens.

The option you have on the previous post DPF Regen Active/Passive, can anyone tell me what the sensor name is in the list as it is not clear which one I need.

My car is a 2016 Euro 6, so I am using the Range Rover 2013-2016 V8 4.4 Diesel list.

Cheers
