L322 2010 rear seat

Hi just gone to collapse rear seat and button pressed on and stayed in without releasing seat. Does anyone know of a quick cheat to get it up or is attempting to take hinge off a possibility?

A thump backwards on the backrest? Sit in the seat, have a shuffle around & then try the latch again to see if it has returned to un-pressed?

When / if you release it tip the whole lot forward & make sure the 'pads' where the supports for the seat bases sit are clean & unobstructed. Think anything there causes the seat to be a tiny but too high & for the backrest latch to bind.

Same here - fiddle around with a small screwdriver from behind to release the catch. There seems to be a metal rod that jumps out from a plastic actuator, you can access this by prising off the plastic cover. 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue
