L322 stops running after 6 hours on freeway, 100 degree weat

Engine dies after 6 hours running, 2300 rpm at 70 mph on a hundred degree day...
Cranks well but no start...
Fuel pump relay and fuse okay
Ignition fail?
Fuel fail?
