Good afternoon, I'm getting a click from starter solenoid so I am on the lookout for a replacement (starter motor). I don't fancy paying full price for an original unit and would be quite happy with a reasonable quality refurbished one. Any recommendations folks ?

I believe so… and might have to strip it down a bit too.

Starting to get the issue with mine a couple of times a month….

I stripped my old one just to see the extent of the problem.
Pretty easy to clean up the contacts to repair, but be very careful removing the end cap. The connection to the coil is very delicate, but easy to repair with a bit of flexible wire and a soldering iron.
