What about one that fits on the caravan A frame? Plenty advertised on line. John

No first hand experience as don't tow whilst carrying bikes but a quick Google of "bike rack whilst towing a caravan" should give you plenty to consider. |

I like the idea of the A frame mounted racks, but euro vans have longer A frames as in the UK we tend to build our vans up to the back of the handbrake, whereas manufacturers like Adria have a much longer A frame so can take a rack.

I used to have a MaxxRaxx years ago - mine fitted to a farmers hitch with an old style 2 bolt set up, but they also did one that clamped to a swan neck - both left the tow ball free for towing.

Yes that’s the one Alistair, you have to make an enquiry prior to purchase to make sure you get the correct kit, I shall await their advises |

The way it works - and not obvious from the photos - is that you have 2 ratchet straps from the top beam of the rack that hook around the upper corners of the tailgate. It needs those to stop the bikes bouncing around too much.

Didn’t realize that, so they would pull through over the top of the spoiler, Christ that’ll cause rubbing I would have thought .it’ll be 2 kids bikes only though, might make a difference.. |

2 kids bikes should be fine - they recommend the straps for more than 2 bikes - I had 4.

Cool, aye they are just a couple of 20" kids bikes, although one does feel like it's made from iron |
