, I know what you mean, I have just had the plenum and throttle body cleaned out on my 4.4 tdV8 (L322) and wow, I had forgotten just how quick it is, , as one Grandad to another, my quick fix is to set the speed alarm just below 80 to keep me alert

Thats the trouble with these cars, the time it takes to get up to very naughty speeds is ridiculous and also silent. I regularly find myself on the motorway wondering why everyone else is hanging about only to realise I am well over the speed limit

Plenty of aftermarket GPS or OBD plug in options on eBay.
