United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography Black TDV8 Barolo Black

I drove very slowly to Footloose 4X4 in Peterborough with all the lights on the dashboard on, the front end of the car almost dragging on the ground and the back end stuck up in the air and the wretched chime going like it was a German invasion...

Front Offside airbag has let go Sad

Nearside was replaced before I got the car and the cheapskate only did the one Sad

Got the range to "---" on the WAY to work this morning. Fuel gauge needle pointing as far left as it could as it didnt move when the ignition was turned on!

Then after work went and filled it up.... 100litres of go-go juice and the wallet definetaly slim fast shake thinner than it was before i got in the car this morning.

Was meant to be washed and a quick wash inside tonight as well but bad news put pave to that plan Sad

And my average for 1/2 tank of motorway run to Kidderminster and back last week and then town pootling for the end of last week and the weekend saw....
21.7mpg, and that was a fair zippy time on the motorway and about town.... I do think the gearbox on the TD6 really drags it down due to lockup taking so long and it wanting to slip the clutches for ages unless the throttle is very gentley touched..... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Service me baby!

Well, I've had her a year done 15,000mls and she's in for a service today. I've decided I'll just give her a big one every year. She's also being subjected to an MOT at the same time - fingers crossed Smile Geoff

Booked it in to get 4 new tyres on Saturday morning with my local tyre specialists. Hoping to get the tracking sorted and the aircon re-gassed whilst I am there. Reformed
