I'm looking at fitting a towbar to my L322.

I kind of want detachable but I kind of don't because, I can't see how a few small pins are anywhere near as strong as a bolted on bar.

I've come across the Steinhof bar, which I was going to combine with the Westfalia vehicle specific electrics. The bar seems pretty decent, has a long enough reach on the Swan neck and, is just 2 bolts to remove the bar - seems much more robust than detachable but simple enough to remove the bar with a few spanners when not in use (most of the time).

From reading that forum thread, seems pretty good!

I would go for the Westfalia electrics though, as my car has the plug and would be much easier than some of these aftermarket kits. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
