I heard dealer L460s were due before the year end, not sure how true that is - it’s presumably been ready to launch for some time now.

Barmybrummie, does your man on the inside know whether there’s still any activity on the L405 production line or are they installing the L460 line and the dealers are still taking orders for the L405 knowing that they’ll never materialise just to maintain interest in the brand?

They don't strip the line per se, rather they add another vehicle to the track... So, they make RR, RRS, D5 amongst other things from Jaguar, all on the same line. So they would simply add L460 to the line removing the 405 when the time is right... I'm guessing the 460 has already been added as the press & dealer cars are built and ready to ship out for launch/reveal sept/oct this year... Customer cars might arrive ? Feb 22 ?

These are just renders of what they think it's going to look like. Not sure a Land Rover magazine would be brave enough to bust an embargo...!

They’ve been testing these in Andalucia for around 6 months, I regularly saw about three of them when I was living at our house nr Almeria - including the ones in the photos.

I think they have hired Toyota designers! The back looks like the back of a bus. The screen looks like it's stuck on with BlueTack. Ron B. VK2OTC
