| Range Rover 2012 4.4. TDV8 More Reliable than Mercedes E220 | |
I have been driving my 2012 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8 for 18 months now, without any issues other than routine or preventative maintenance.
4 weeks ago I purchased a Mercedes 2015 E220 Bluetec, that had a number of serious faults that came to light after the car breaking down on the motorway twice within 4 days. Mercedes indicated a repair cost of £4k plus parts. Car was returned to dealer.
Replaced the Mercedes with a 2015 E220 CDI with AMG Sport Pack. Rear tail light packed up within one week and 18 inch wheels were all buckled and could not be balanced requiring replacement. Dealer paid for light and wheels.
All good now and hopefully the Mercedes will be as reliable over the coming years as the Range Rover has proven to be.  2012 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Current
