I found these guys quite local to me - They suggest carrying out some kind of "double flush" technique when changing gearbox oil.

Can flushing in this way have a negative impact?

They do this using some kind of Wynn's transerve machine (as shown on Discovery in video below). While it says at the end of the video, that it's only for use on RR Sport and Defender, it looks like they now also offer this service on the Range Rover L322 TDV8 at a cost of £395 - As my FFRR is a 2007 MY 4.4 Jaguar V8 Petrol variant, I'm guessing it shares the same 6 speed gearbox?

Please let me know your thoughts?

Many thanks

How about changing 5 lt every 10k km after filter change?
Won’t it keep the oil in best condition? 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.

Thank you all for your comments, always appreciated.

I love the idea of a home made flush kit, but with my DIY skills, it's guaranteed to fail....
