So went out for a drive and this happened....

So it has been a weird 2 weeks with no Rangie, and last week managed to get this mega loaded Westminster Black from Parks in Ayr. I had almost bought a used 4.4 but the dealer wasn't really doing much of a deal to secure my business and decided to just go for an unreg or pre-reg car with as close to a spec I'd like as poss and then was really lucky that Parks for 4 cars from. JLR the same day I called ..... I almost got a D350 but went for the D300 due to colour and spec.

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

That’s fabulous, congratulations and enjoy Thumbs Up

Really interested to hear how the new engines are in comparison to previous.

In terms of dealers, I’ve found recent experience very disappointing both within the main dealer network and independent retailers. Lack of professionalism and apathy in abundance unfortunately!

Great Range Rover and I’m sure you’ll be delighted with it. Thumbs Up Current

Thanks chaps.

Alistair - I know....I was driving myself mad....I really like a 3yr old 4.4V8 black and vintage tan as it had a towbar and thew 9012 wheels.... but 500 quid off and 1yrs warranty just annoyed me, so with JLR finance I was paying 150 quid more a month for the brand new car, so seemed a no brainer!!

It's a decent spec:

Westminster Black (Pack) D300
Black Contrast Roof
Electric Towbar (dealer fit)
Secure Tracker Pro
Side Steps
CD/DVD Player
Drive Pack (Traffic Monitoring, Driver Condition Monitoring, Blind Spot Monitor)
Wood & Lthr Wheel
Mudflaps
Boot Liner
Premium Mats
22" 9012

The Westminster is a good swap for a VSE as it gets all these on top of vogue spec making it almost a VSE:
soft close doors
front fogs
split pano roof
Suedecloth headlining
Privacy glass
Illuminated metal treadplates with Range Rover script
Configurable Ambient Interior Lighting all smug in my new plug!

Thanks guys, really loving the smoothness of the D300.

It's really nice and relaxing, the only thing I'd say is my seats are pretty firm....hoping they soften a little as time goes on.

Its a bit strange .... I feel quite nervous driving it. Not sure if it's the value since my last car was worth a lot less, and this was a lot more or what....maybe I just dont want to kerb my new wheels lol....

Altho smashed my ankle off the side steps yesterday and Jesus wept, it was bleeding sore!! lol.... but liking them too.

Towbar loom on back order so not that I need it for now but will get fitted eventually. TV and Apple carplay is a good.
