We had a really bad stain on the wifes Beetle (de-icer bottle split) and ended up getting a Leather restoration specialist in who "painted" it.

No use to you re the specialist as we are based down in Hampshire, but the result was exceptional. No doubt there are similar people in your neck of the woods if you can find a good one.

I can highly recommend Gliptone Scuff Master leather dye - I’ve used the LR ivory kit a few times previously and the match / finish has been superb, even where only applying to smaller sections. Application is pretty easy using the sponge they supply with the kit.
