2005 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black

Car not starting

Hi All,

Unfortunately my 05 SC wont start.
It has been driving fine up until now.

The car unlocks with the central locking fine. I can't turn the key in the ignition: when I try there is a clicking sound behind the dash; but the key hardly moves in the ignition lock.
I have my foot on the brake and I cant move the gear shift from park.

Any ideas?

battery...now the lower temps in the morning have come upon us, they'll be more members having this problem.. ... - .- -.

Does it need a new battery? I have been driving it every day. What battery would you suggest? Yellow / Red top?

from reading this forum it seems that the range will knacker a battery in about 3 years..the best is a type 020 bosch/varta which has 110amphrs and 920 crank [cca]
europarts, if you have one local also handy if you need to take it back, or carbattryshop.co.uk for online.. ... - .- -.

Thats the sweety I got thanks to you Scarey still get the odd error though when first starting otherwise fine must be too quick to turn the ignition. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
