TV on the move...

Found this on ebay, which seems cheaper than the £90 one that's regularly advertised:

Clicky

I'm not sure it'll work in mine though- the seller emailed me to say that my TV tuner on the boot should have a sticker on saying VDO. If it says LEAR, it's not compatible.

Just looked and I can't see any stickers? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I bought an iBus interface and Navcoder (£40 + £17) One function of this can be to enable TV on the move. As well as turn off the light check for individual lights (I had to do my sidelights after changing to LED bulbs w/o resistors)

Total price for TV on the move £57.00 everything else it does, priceless. Thumbs Up

OK< I looked at the kit in the back of mine and can see no stickers either, however in the back of the user manual are a load of conformity certificates which have Siemens VDO all over them, so chances are, this is it.

Can anyone say with confidence that the VDO type TV is on a particular MY onwards? Mine has the hybrid TV tuner too.

Also, if I put one of these in, does that also enable DVD playback on the move as well as the TV signal? Discovery 4 HSE

2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Cairns Blue

I thought the MOST interface TV tuner was installed from the 05MY onwards (new touchscreen satnav) - and that this cable won't work for that.

There's a special box I've seen somewhere that covers the MOST style systems - will dig it out FFRR TD6 06MY. Cairns Blue, Blue Hide. LR 7 Spoke 20" Wheels, S/C Grill and Vents. Privacy Glass and Side Steps

my last but one RR sport had "TV on the move" but the picture was useless and drove me med, the only advantage was playing DVD's but i never did of course as it was too dangerous!
