IMHO don't take the old seals etc out, don't fit old or new seals etc, just change the oil and refit the box (after cleaning the oil lines and cooler) Do not reset adaptions...

The advice that I've seen is to replace the seal when removing the pan because if the seal leaks then the pan has to be dropped to R&R the seal requiring new oil again. |

This is the seal kit that I put in the previous box. It was around £50 from memory.

This video from PowerfulUK suggests that I'm going to need to match the new gearboxes TCU to my car using the IID tool and the first part of that process was to clear the adaptions

You can reflash without resetting adaptions
