A Trap

Great unit, plenty of punch to start our big diesels or act as a power supply. Good quality.

No, you can charge it from anything that has a USB socket, the more powerful your charger, the faster it charges.

I have a bunch of 2 amp chargers around the house, as well as one for my MacBook that takes USB C, so it will only take a couple of hours to charge it fully

Or plug it into your car cigarette lighter, charges in 3 hours

Beats me how it works, you need 14.4v to charge a 12v battery. If the charging circuit can boost 5v to 12v at the cost of reducing the current then it’s possible, if not overly practical as it will take a long time. Hence the stated charge time they give of about 12 hours to charge over USB

USB is 5V, the jump starters have multiple lithium cells of lower voltage than that.

Think I’m good, just read the manual and it said lead acid batteries only. Had a panic thinking I have AGM.... but looks like that’s still classed as lead acid.....
