VIN CODE - HPI HELP PLEASE....

I've just bought a FFRR on eBay, done a HPI and everything comes up OK - but doesn't show as Range Rover, but as Land Rover 4x4 light utility ! is this acceptable..
Everything else- reg number, vin number, V5 number, V5 issue all match Ok

I'm collecting it tomorrow

The HPI doesn't say anything in model, but it says light 4x4 utility under body plan.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

I've found this on some. It lists as '4x4 Light Utility' but this changes. It sometimes happens if the car has just come off a private plate or something.

Mine is listed as:

Make: LAND ROVER
Model: RANGE ROVER AUTOB TDV8 A

But:

A short while after registration it was listed on HPI as:

Make: LAND ROVER
Model: RANGE ROVER (LM)

There are also still no 'Year of Manufacture' and 'Engine Capacity' listed. I think this is all to do with number plate changes, first registrations. So don't panic.

...... or it is imported and the DVLA office used to register it in the UK accepted a poorly completed form. Have a look at the PDI stamp in the service book which with quite possibly be stamped by a dealer outside of the UK.
