Looks a great job đź‘Ť

To be honest I have just paid the local truck wash to steam clean all the Waxoyl off the chassis of one of our other cars as I was fed up getting covered in the stuff every time I carried out maintenance.

I use Lanoguard which is lighter than waxoyl and has better creep and self repair qualities.it’s also opaque so that you can see what’s happening to the metal underneath.

Got any pictures of it? I'm keen to learn more about it. Does it stink of sheep? Lanolin content Rolling with laughter Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Ive just used lanoguard and the smell isnt as strong as waxoyl. Once dry it leaves a waterproof satin sheen which looks really good. It also goes a long way as its thin (watery) and easily applied with a hand sprayer. a little goes a long way. also, once dried the smell is minimal.....I've never got up close to a sheep to smell one to be honest

Dr Rob

I’ve just treated my 90 with Lanoguard after first treating with Aqua Steel rust converter.

Here’s a few photos

Simple to apply. You simply spray it on using a spray bottle. It dries a nice opaque/clear and is dry to the touch, so you don’t get covered in black if you work on your car.

The smell is noticeable for a couple of days. Just stay away from fields full of Rams……….

did mine 2 weekends ago and its not smelly anymore....its 23degC here today and I cant smell anything particularly nasty. Waxoyl on warm days tends to 'leak' and drops spots on the floor

Lets see if I can smell anything going forward
