Transmission oil change and cleared adaptions with iid

Oo no should not have done that. Done oil change on transmission tdv9 with zf6hp26 box and foolishly I cleared adaptions. I've tried do re learn thing ie driving 35mpg slowing brake for 10 seconds etc but seems to be wierd was getting fault code and limp mode but now just seems weird. OK polluting away but just feels odd. Like not in correct gear. Any advice please

Clearing the adaptions can take a long time for it to feel normal again.

I did mine after I replaced the solenoids in my gearbox and it probably took the best part of 1500 miles for it to feel normal again. Drive it normally without making it kick down too much and hopefully it’ll be ok. Mine feels nice now. Well, it did until my transfer box packed in earlier today Big Cry

Basically doing the 35mph above 1850rpm and then coast to standstill brake for 6secs and repeat. Tbh I thought it was a wind up but is returning to normal so all good.. thanks[/img]

I thought it was my transfer box that had packed in at the weekend but it wasn't. It's the main gearbox. Hopefully yours gets back to normal quickly Smile
