L405 Leaking O Ring replacement

Has anyone on here replaced the "O" ring at the back of the engine on a SDV8 ?

I've done the L322 TDV8 but the newer one looks a mare to access !!

try here mate. Recently had my oil cooler replaced. Was rather a good leak from it. Indy reckons it was a bit of a job to do.

Thanks. Yes I've seen this when I did the job on my TDV8 but now I've got a SDV8 and although the problem is the same, so I beleive.... the access is quite different, thats my issue, a look this morning lead me to beleive it would need taking the windscreen wipers off !

Yes it's a bit more involved than a 322... Done many of them to date...

BIG tip! The large bolts holding the strut braces, undue them with a socket and bar ONLY... Never a windy gun as the steel bolts suffer from steel/aluminium corrosion... If the captive nuts spin then you can get to the bottom/underside of them with a socket Thumbs Up

Thanks for the reply :¬)

So this is a potential oil leak on these too ?? I've checked as best I can around the cooler and filter housing and its clean but also smells clean, so my next thought was the O ring.
