This is the second time my rear washer has stopped working.
Last time it was the non return valve blocked.
This time no water arriving at back of car.

Cleared the problem.
I filled it with hot water and injected in to the pipe at the non return valve.
At first it wouldn’t let me inject into the pipe because it was obviously blocked, but little by little it started to flow until I was able to pump the syringe back and forth injecting more and more hot water until eventually I was getting a good flow of blue washer fluid.
£4.59 well spent. It’s a brilliant bit of kit for the job.

I think mine has the same problem. I can hear the pump but no water coming out. Where is the non-return valve located? 2011 Vogue SE TDV8

Open the top tailgate and pull out the centre plastic cover surround.
You will see the rubber pipe on the left where it comes from the tank. Then the non return valve, then a short length of tube into the wiper motor.

The beauty of the syringe is that it is dead easy to check which bit is blocked. You can just squirt water through the valve by removing the tube both sides and also through the jets via the short tube.
One jet was partially blocked on mine and one squirting well, but hot water soon flushed both out.
The one way valve was fine because I changed it a couple of years ago.

Yeah I got that too! Was recently given a quote of £250 to put it right... When I asked what they would do that would cost so much, they didn't have an answer. They didn't know why it was sluggish - so I was bemused at to how the cost was arrived at. I was gonna stick a guitar string up it's eye hole but I couldn't even find it: where is it? The sun was out and bright, maybe that was the problem.

The two jets are in the end of the wiper arm.
Report back if you are still struggling and I will take some pictures ( when it stops raining )
