Chap I’ve been talking to - a local body shop which has done work for me in the past, so trusted - tells me my wheels have already been refurbed once and he can’t do a diamond cut on them now as there isn’t enough metal to work with. His recommendation is to paint them, so I just have to think about the best colour. Silver, grey or black?

I sold a previous set of kerbed turbines with worn tyres and bought a new set - cost me less than the new tyres + a refurb

Other than that, tough one. I’d go black. They just don’t look right in silver IMHO, but as soon as you kerb black wheels it’s super obvious….

Exactly my thinking, but if I go black wheels then the trim on the car won’t match, so I’d have to get a black pack. As you say though, a kerbed black alloy is very obvious. Alternative is to buy a set of 22”s in a different style, but I do like the turbines…

You could always go technical grey

I’d second a mid grey. Either that or a shadow chrome. Those spokes really work well with a darker colour as it brings out the sharp edges.
