I put a full set of 5 Conti Silents in 285/40/22 on - very quiet and the ride is a little better due to slightly larger rubber in both width and depth - they are oem fit and are marked LR 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

Agree with the above especially 285.40.22 section tyres, they give more protection to your rims and actually look better than the 275.40 .22 profile, I've used both budget and branded Pirelli for normal city and motorway driving, no off roading, I change them when they get down to 3.5 mm the budgets are a bit noisy compared to name brand |

I've got Conti's Cross Contact LX Sport , whatever the hell thats really means ? The reason I'm lloking to change them is I've got excess NSF outer wear, someone on here mentioned this may be a Conti trait..... just saying |

I'm only going by the tyre ratings rather than personal experience, but aren't the Contis a lot louder than Pirellis?

I'm going by 20" experiance on my L322 but the difference between Scorpion and Scorpeon Verde was pretty obvious to me. The Verde was so much more compliant and handled way better, the difference between 10+ years of development I assume. Thats the only reason I'd default to Verde or Verde Plus, there are btter tyres out there just I'm not familair with them.

Looking at pics of tyres, that would straight away indicate worn suspension arms or a tracking issue and our vehicles are very sensitive when it comes to tracking, it is agreed that Hunter alignment systems are the best way to go, as it deffo wont be the tyres fault, its only going where you point it but if tracking and alignment are out that pic shows the result, suggest checking first before spending any money on new tyres |

This is where I started from, the excess wear. I'm going to swop the wheels round for now and get it examined by my local friendly garage for suspension wear. I can't feel anything in driving it but then would I ?

Been running the PS4s for a couple of years. Best i've ever had to be honest, wet handling is incredible, hard wearing too, got them on the porsche as well, there was a discount code flying about too, i'll have a look.

I'm going to have a devil of a job deciding on tyres when my current 22's are worn.......

Just put a set of verdes on mine, although 21’s not 22’s, very pleased with the performance so far. Excellent in the wet and been quiet up to now. I also tow a large caravan and had no problem there either. |
