Gearbox 4.4

can some one please tell me what gearbox i would need for a 53 plate 4.4 automatic

if anyone has a working one for sale even better

Just be sure that it’s a 1058 000 032 model number before you buy it. Of the 24 variants of the 5HP24 transmission, this is the only one that fits the L322.



Often you see adverts/auction listings that state “fits BMW X5 & Range Rover”. This isn’t true. The back ends of the E53 and L322 transmissions are quite different because they use different transfer cases.

Many thanks, and Merry Christmas to you, too. Just to make sure that I don’t completely vegetate, I’m tinkering with Aston Martin transmissions now – much easier than the 5HP24 & ideal for a retirement hobby Very Happy
