this is from rave and it appears that the sensor goes into a holder of some kind.. |

It looks the sensor holders have a moulded snap clip which means it probably won't come out without getting behind it. CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

you might be lucky and be able to get your hand behind to release the clips. ... - .- -.

I've had a look and there seems to be a black plastic lower boxed trim which unless you have hands like a child instead is impossible to get into CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

just a thought, one of my sensors wasnt working and it was the wiring that was chaffed and not a faulty sensor..is it defo that your sensor is faulty..

Not sure.... The sensor (passenger side rear) is not clicking , I thought the chaffed wiring usually occurred on the drivers side? CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

mine was on the off side, but might be worth a look to see if it is the wiring.. ... - .- -.

Mind you , the will be the 4th sensor replaced in 2 years , the last 3 done under warranty CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

do you pressure wash yours much, could be water causing them to fail.. ... - .- -.

yes there is stu, switch on the ignition without turning the engine over , then stick the range into reverse..go round and listen to each sensor , it should make a 'clicking' noise...if a particular sensor doesn't then its the one that's faulty or the sensor wiring is .. ... - .- -.
