With a little help from the bank of mum and dad, new front shocks have been ordered courtesy of island 4x4. I also ordered the fixing kit which includes gaskets and new bolts.

I’ll start spaying the bolts tomorrow in anticipation of being Censored to remove. Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

I now have two new front struts fitted Thumbs Up

One of the hub bolts would not shift. I spent a good few hours, lashings of penetrating oils, my (ahem) petit Whistle frame on a big breaker bar before it would budge. It eventually did go, and there were no issues thereafter.
With the exception of that bolt, it was only a few hours work Thumbs Up

All seems ok, no hissing, and will check in the morning to see if it drops at all. Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

Car cleaned, but then we had rain. Lots of the stuff…

Anyway, here’s a cleaned look at my side steps (stowed) and repaired trim.

Looking good there ffrr-lover. I think that's the only pic you've posted on here where your car is actually clean Laughing

At least you got the suspension all sorted now.

Cheeky Censored ! Wink

However, I have looked at my gallery and, it turns out, you are absolutely right Laughing

Methinks that I need to change that… get some nice weather, clean and polish, then take some pics. Thumbs Up Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

I knew I was right on that lol. You mention a lot it needs a clean and now I've seen it lol.
I can give you some tips on how to keep it clean of you like hehe? Must admit, I'm OCD when it comes to my cars, they always have to shine. Maybe we should set up a thread for who has the cleanest and most shiny car.
