I'll second that, much easier to replace than paint... offer up the template to the existing letters, tape it across the top only, fold it back on itself and tape it out the way, remove the badges with fishing wire or decent tooth floss, clean up with petrol if you have nothing else... let the template drop back down and stick the new ones on...

Once you have changed the lettering, then you can do a tip top spray job on them and you then have a good spare set for next time |

My tip to get rid of the residue glue/sponge is to get a small artist brush and dab on some white spirit. Do it about three times till it's fully soaked and the trick is to leave it 30mins. It then virtually wipes off with a cloth. I always do this on my wheels to get rid of old wheel weight adhesive. |

Just have to get the spelling right, if “E” is upside down it would be facing the wrong way (I would spot that) but I do need to watch my “N”s |

Another cheap residual glue remover is “zippo” lighter fluid, dirt cheap & works very fast! |

The supplying dealer painted mine when I mentioned they were tarnished before completing the purchase. I'm hoping they are now good for life. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

Well I bought the letters but haven't got round to it yet so I spent a minute painting as I'll be replacing them anyway.
