CVD Damper

Hi all,

got a damper that is shot on driver side rear of the car it is a CVD one. Found a Bilstein unit for £270 which is a good price.
My question is do you have to tell the car it has a new shock or is it a fit and forget unit?

thanks

Oh and there are no instructions in WiKi so i will do a write up too 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current

I changed both of my rears and didn’t tell the car and it’s s been fine
You’ll be surprised how easy the job is, one big bolt at the bottom and 3 nuts at the top,
Sorted
