2021 -> Bluetooth upgrade for my FFRR 2004 l322 4.4L

Hi everyone,

Bluetooth has been covered a lot on the forum - did read through hundreds of threads.
However, couldn't find a recent one.

Last week friday I got my first FFRR delivered!
Very pleased so far! Wink

what is your opinion for a bluetooth upgrade (keeping the existing headunit), calls and music streaming iPhone 12

Gen 13 ULF upgrade, Groom, etc. Question

Looking forward to your opinions! Thumbs Up

Why would you want to keep the original Headunit in an 04 it doesn’t have the terrain response etc like the later, the whole system is ancient and prone to failure at multiple points (speaking from experience)

Ditch the headunit and you may get some £ on eBay get a nice 10.25 erisin with carplay and Android auto, a resler interface and a licence of ibus app so you can use the stock dsp app and control it still. Should be able to do that for under £300 which you will probably not be far off spending in what you suggest but your way you still have 17yr old ice… Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF
