moving stickys

now we have a wiki, could all the 'stickys' [which are all at the top of each section], be moved there freeing the forum so you dont have to scroll down to the recent post which is a bit of a pain if you use a laptop...

i appreciate what you are saying, but some members might miss something posted at 12hrs plus 1 minute if they use your link..it could be difficult to judge how long you are away from the forum....

i, personally like the normal forum set up , but made this suggestion because we have a wiki and the stickys and wiki are one of the same..

It is a copy and paste process, with the benefit that anyone can do it Wink

I'm more than happy to de-sticky topics where the content is mirrored in the wiki.

Perhaps if they have time to troll through post older than 12 hours they have the nano second to scroll past the sticky's Surprised

Anyway you can change the 12 in the URL to 24 or any time you wish.....

Does really make loads of sense as it includes all forum sections all colour coded when your logged in - perfect (for most) Thumbs Up

Same result as my link but you can choose the timescale with my URL Thumbs Up

Also if you use CHROME as your browser you can "One Click" to the latest messages on all your favourite Martin run Forums.....

to move the stickys to the wiki you have to re-write them all, so how about a 'sticky' section ,then its just a matter of moving them to that section..this would free up each forum section so the latest thread is at the top...

[waits for flack.. Ner Ner]
