Its the tax on them when you try to import one, Portugal puts its own rules into the eu laws and gets fined every year from the eu, its cheaper for them to pay the fine

Hehehe another overblown item; the timing chain guides on the 5.0SC. The amount of time I see people say that. Sure it can happen, and possibly it will. But ultimately anything will fail at some point. Once does not go an replace everything prematurely everywhere. To me it’s a thing perpetuated on forums. Just like the Porsche and BMW V8 engines that “will” loose their lining. Or Navara bottom end that will blow up the engine. Or BMW M2 crankshaft that will break and so on.

Indeed it could be overblown and when you research any car there is usually some "known problems".

Blackdog, you are right about the 101 Dalmations comment. That motor does have a rather strange colour combo, but as for black roof lining ?
