Having suffered from a woeful handbrake ever since owning my RR and several attempts to adjust them with limited improvement, today whilst changing the hub carrier bushes I had another attempt. Previously I had followed the workshop manual and also an online video which states flick the adjusters upward. This is correct for the RH side but not the left, this side needs to be flicked downward. I now have a very effective handbrake for the 1st time. 2007 TDV8 VSE

Excellent, don't forget to actually use it now and again to brake the fatty, not just pull it on when stationary as this doesn't help much, it needs to work for a living to remain operational... Pete
