What should this plug into?

So this wire with plug was dangling between the rear driver wheel and the rear diff - it’s been off a while as the pins are corroded - got no faults or anything but I can’t find what it may be for - any ideas?

As you currently report no indicated faults - Try every single feature your car has, to see if one feature is not working, some items may not indicate a fault when disconnected, but may indicate a fault when is does not respond to signals when operated. ie like locking diff as in Kevinp's post.

I think mine is this as a 2007 supercharged but if that is what this is where does it plug in? Current stable:

Looked at the ediff it looks like a different plug but, looking at the fbh pumps on eBay that looks like it could be it...

Next question are these prewired for FBH if that's what this is or has it been removed? any idea how to tell? Current stable:

As a suggestion, FBH was standard on diesel models and an option on petrol models. I would think that the same loom was used for all models as being easier. I think it is probably an FBH plug but as yours is supercharged - no FBH. John
