This is on my to-do list. Pads are fine but disks look very worn and the stopping power IMO is marginal. All friction material for road use legally has to have the same friction Co-efficient as OE so the differences typically involve wear rate, dust and heat resistance during hard use. However some pads do tend to have differences in initial 'bite'. I'll be going with one of the major brands and the best deal I can get but I'd probably go with matched brands for disks and pads even though the disk material should be identical grey cast iron and this shouldn't matter. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
