There are 2 sensors if I remember, before and after the exhaust. I would get underneath (you don't need a ramp) and have a look at the exhaust area and that the sensors are connected properly (they may have been dislodged by road debris/snow/slush?).

What engine size do you have? 3.6 or 4.4? I suggest you get a HIGH pressure test done first to see if there are any obvious leaks.

the fact that it's not regenning properly may suggest that it's not getting up to the temps required. This can be caused by a gate (turbo or EGR?) staying stuck open or the thermostat staying open. These engines run very cool so they need to pump Diesel fuel into the DPF filter to raise the temps. May be causing your problem but to be honest I am not sure and don't have the technical knowledge required. good luck. |
