Front dash cam and installer recommendations sought

Looking for a recommendation for a decent, fairly discreet, forward facing dash cam.

Also looking for an installer in the South East (Hampshire area preferable) that will install it properly so it doesn't mess up the DAB radio or have GPS issues.

Aside from normal use, I want to be able to record the reg of dodgy looking vehicles who have been poaching on the farm after dark - preferably without raising their suspicions - as I drive past showing no interest.

I'm using this for more than a year, installed it myself, very easy and also discreet, also added the rear cam.
Not very expensive, too!

Where is it mounted?

Cheers Stan,

Do you have experience of Halfords as installers? I guess it might be luck of the draw...

The front one is mounted next to the mirror, so that I can't see it during driving (we drive on the right side of the road).

Barely visible from the outside:

For the rear one I chose the lower position, this way I can't see it at all in the rear view mirror.

Likewise, from the outside it's almost invisible:

I hid the wires as best as I could, without removing almost anything...

I use the Garmin Mini in other cars. One front and another back. Discrete and the app works well.

Fitted them myself and managed to connect them front and rear to 12 sockets rather than hard wiring, with just a bit of forward planning as to where to hide the wire.

Would fit them to my next RR because fitting the F/R BlackVue to my current RR was a PITA, well the rear was.

Available for a bit less elsewhere. MY23 D350 HSE
On my 7th RR plus various other JLR vehicles

I’m not ready to hardwire. I have dipped my toe into the dashcam market by getting a Drift Ghost XL. A 1080p 30 FPS camera with 8 hour battery life and loop recording. It mounts using a 3M sticker to the plasticy bit of the dash to the right of the cowling. Seems to work just fine. £150 and no cables! L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
