Air suspension lowering on its own...

I need some advice please. My newly aquired 2008 TDV8 has been in my garage for over a week waiting for a new front brake caliper to arrive. I put the wheels back on it and lowered it back on the floor, leaving it at normal height. After three days the whole car has dropped about 3 or 4 cm. Is this normal? Also when I started it up, a message appeared on the dashboard saying "vehicle lifting slowly", could there ba an air leak? My carsoft code reader is not showing any faults.

Your help is much appreciated. Very Happy

Thanks Stan, the brake caliper I have been waiting for has just arrived! Car should be back on the road soon, I will post again when it is reassembled and I have taken it out for a drive.

If you want to stop it next time, leave a door open, the interior lights will go off after around 15mins and the suspension will not try to level and lower each corner which is what happened to you... Thumbs Up Pete

With a door open press the light switch on the overhead console to turn off the interior lights. John
