Unless you have the build sheet, the only sure way of knowing is to crawl underneath and see if you have an electrical connector going to it.

Is there a 4x4 info screen that shows the diffs? On the latest vehicles, which are obverse different, there is a graphic that shows which differentials are active at the moment... in my case middle diff and rear diff. Else you can do a VIN lookup for spec. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso |

No cables or sockets on rear diff. 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.

Quite rare to find a locking diff on anything unless it was a standard fit. Almost never specified as an option as it was never really needed unless you get really stuck!
