Been told this is not adjustable- and possibly a bent rear subframe .

Thoughts ???

It is adjustable, so you need to find another garage - lol.
However, it's unlikely to be an adjustment issue unless you've just had the rear toe arms / bushes on the rear suspension replaced recently.
Most likely is the toe arm joints worn - but all it needs a good visual inspection using a pry bar to check for play - wheels off the car. Paul,

Hi Pawl,

had the rear lower arms replaced a few months ago. was sent for "tracking" and all ok- have scrubbed a set of new rear tyres in 3 months . shocks and bags are good. been in for new front brakes, and obviously new tyres. Asked the garage o get it 4 wheel tracked and they took it to the local Hunter garage. they said it was either the subframe bent or completely shot subframe bushes. we looked at bushes and they seem ok.
i just wondered how much adjustment you could get and if 11mm was too much to bring back.

Was it scrubbing badly before you had the rear arms replaced ?
If no, the scrubbing is obviously related to poor installation of the arms / failure to re-install the cam washers in similar position to when removed.
A bent subframe is obviously possible, but unlikely unless you remember a big impact & have had to replace other damaged parts too (I can't imagine sub-frame damage without something at the wheel end being damaged too)

The 11mm is probably at the tyre centreline, so the adjustment at the toe arm would be less, but I imagine the cam washers would only give 4 or 5mm (others might know better).
To be so far out, I would be looking for something installed incorrectly. I assume the toe arms were replaced at the same time as the bushes ?

Although the Alignment print out shows the camber in tolerance, it ought to be far closer each side to the 1 degr nominal spec & is easily adjusted by the cam washer on the left hand side top hub bush & will change the toe an amount too.

When I replaced all the bushes & toe arms on our car last year, I marked all the cam washers before removal & replaced them back to the same setting. When the car was re-checked on a 4 wheel alignment machine, everything was back on nominal settings - without any adjustment required. Paul,

The camber also affects the toe.
If you set the camber on the left to the same as the right it might bring the toe in.

Curious to know how the type of engine induction has anything to do with this!

Nobody should be doing an alignment without first checking all bushes are not worn otherwise it's pointless.
Personally, I'd find a better specialist. I'm lucky that mine also does 4 wheel alignment on site and does it properly.
The suspension should be locked in Tight Tolerance Mode for the alignment or suspension will fight itself.

Hi Dr Rob,

bushes were checked when the rear lower arms were changed. will be taking it to another 4W tracking company tomorrow who i know have the kit to do it properly ( fingers crossed)
Hadn't thought about tight tolerance mode so will set that tomorrow before i take her in for tracking.
something about a damaged subframe just doesn't seem to ring true, as i would have thought there would have been more obvious issues with the rear. but then again, what do i know ! Welcome Rosie J - The Newer Kid on the Block

I can see from the pic that you have Landsail tyres on - mine came with them and I too wondered about poor tracking etc as they were wearing badly/inconsistently.

My Land Rover specialist checked, and advised that they are pretty crap tyres etc and I changed for a set of Scorpion M&S - no problem since - wearing consistently etc.

It may be the rubber?
