Finally got my 3.6 TDV8 running properly again after changing the rocker cover / intake manifold. and it lasted less than a day before a new problem came along!!!
Ping, check coolant, which went off. the temp stayed gauge stayed in the middle so carried on. Then I lost heating so stopped in a cloud of steam. The top rad hose popped off the thermostat
The hose does look old and is very soft so i have ordered a new one.
I am hoping its just the old hose and not something over pressuring the system.
Has anyone else had this happen on 3.6 TDV8??
