L322 4.4 petrol - rear wiper motor.

Is there more than one type of rear wiper motor for the L322? I need to replace mine and they seem very expensive. The garage quoted me £400 fitted and some people are asking for that money just for the part.

There also seem to be 2 different types, so don't want to get the wrong one. Mine is a 2006 vogue 4.4 petrol.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks.

Will give it a try. The garage seemed to think that there was no electric current and it looked corroded from leak?

I am no expert on these things, but the garage was saying there is no electrical charge / currrent (?) on the motor. The fuse is fine. The motor is not activating or trying to turn it is completely "dead". Not sure if cleaning will solve this?

I was given another motor, but it looks completely different, whcih was why I asked the question. Looks like later models had a different part?
