FBH & Foxwell nt510

Has anyone used a foxwell nt510 to find fault with the fbh?

I’ve been reading that the nt510 is quite a good scan tool obviously the iid tool is the best but wondered if the nt510 will identify specific problems with the fbh rather than the general not working fault code
Thanks

Bought one after contacting them and asking if it would bleed my brakes/abs on 2005 td6
Told it would so went ahead and purchased but never worked

Terrible customer service totally ignored me when asking for a refund and never heard from them again

Avoid

Ps I’ll have a look at the fbh options if you need any help

I needed to do the steering angle sensor on mine so bought that fox well unit and it didn't even do that so thought suppose for £120 I can't expect too much. Customer service was lousy, not at all helpful do was stuck between lynx evo or gap iid. Went for gap in the end

I've been reading about the 530, not the 510, as being able to do some of that programming. I think I'd rather get the Gap tool because when you're done with it and don't have your L322 anymore it has a great resale value whereas the others don't. You could realistically use it for a few years and then sell it fairly easily so it only costs you $100 or so.

Cheers I was hoping to use it to diagnose my fbh problems! Looks like I’ll have to keep a lookout for a used iid

Tbh mate you won't save an awful lot compared to a new one. I won mine on ebay for £371. But the new activation code is another £60 so your gonna be in at around £430-£460 depending on ebay price where as brand new they go for around £500 so not a massive saving bearing in mind they don't come up for sale very often
