So went to start on Thursday morning and got repaired dreaded click. So went shopping in wife’s car. Put multimeter on and was only showing 11.89v due to lockdown only been doing short journeys so assumed cold wet weather and big draw on electrics. Put charger on and got it up to 12.6v.....overnight dropped back to 11.89. Recharged again and back it went overnight!

Left it on Saturday and it’s showing 11.86 this morning. Interestingly I’m getting 12.3 if I put multimeter on 13 pin towing socket? At least no battery drain to investigate!

Battery is an Exide ek950 AGM exactly two years old. So looks like battery is ******d it’s got a three years guarantee so be a phone call on Monday morning. Git it on charge again to give it one last go and see what happens overnight. Any one claimed for a failed Exide? 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

Where did you buy it from?

I’ve managed to exchange Bosch batteries with them successfully after a couple of years.

Try disconnecting it to charge it to rule out a drain There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Was fit by my local inde....the garage I bought car off paid for under warranty. Hoping the fact that the voltage isn’t dropping after initial spell is ruling out a drain situation.
