Hi everyone,

I have yet to open the sunroof on my '09 L322 Autobiography for fear that I won't be able to close it!

I looked through the owner's manual and the service manual but I can't find any mention of a method to manually close the sunroof in case the mechanism has some failure.

Does anyone know if there's a way to manually close the sunroof?

I do not know if I can help but search Elliot the farmer with I believe a 2006 td6 l322 he found a crank to manually shut the roof in the back of his FFRR. He is in a wheelchair [ Elliot] I know my 2008 does not have such a crank but maybe an allen key would work. If you can find the access near the sunglass compartment between sun visors. Hope this helps

Never needed to do it on my L322 but have done it on my P38.

At the very worst you would need to remove the motor and turn the cog by hand/screwdriver but there is bound to be a slot in the motor mechanism to allow this to happen as there is on the P38. Current cars

Just spent a little time looking at the motor and sunroof assembly on EBay.
The motor appears to have a cover on the cabin side which I would hope is removable and will allow the sunroof to be manually cloded. Current cars
