i to found summer tyres to be adequate in the little snow we get in the UK but obviously for proper snow like in the alps for instance , winter tyres would be my choice... ... - .- -.

That's the classic - 4x4 gives you grip as you accelerate, so you start to feel smug, then realise you can't go around corners, or stop, all that much better than anything else.

Wasn’t helped by the fact that there is 300kg of lead in the back of the car at the moment..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Fortunately not Stan, some nice new rolls for some dormers if building. 4 x 80kg rolls plus some 6” plus all the normal tat I carry round so about another 200kg...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
